True Nature Botanicals Organic Skincare

True Nature Botanicals Pacific Natural Skincare ProductsLike probably everyone else who has tried True Nature Botanicals, I’m absolutely in love with this organic skincare brand. Starting with its packaging, which looks beautiful and luxurious. These bottles are made from glass, so I’m definitely going to repurpose after finishing the products. If you haven’t heard about True Nature Botanicals before, it has a large skincare range with a selection of natural, organic products. The products that I’ve tried are Exfoliating Cleanser, Mist, Face Oil, Face Serum, Night Serum With Retinol, and Everyday Sheer Coverage Tinted Moisturizer in shade Light Tint.

True Nature Botanicals Pacific Organic Skincare

True Nature Botanicals Organic Skin CareIn order to try all these lovely products, I had to put aside my recent skincare routine for two weeks and see how the new products work for my skin. If you have sensitive skin like I have, then you know how scary it is to start using a bunch of new products at once! Of course, curiosity always wins, and after this experiment, I was left with a few products that I liked a lot.

True Nature Botanicals Pacific Natural SkincarePacific Exfoliating Cleanser* (120ml)
For some reason, the word “exfoliating” in skincare often makes me cringe. Despite the fact that this creamy exfoliating cleanser is more like a scrub than a cleanser, I enjoyed using it a lot. It didn’t remove my makeup well (especially, mascara), so I used it after my everyday cleanser for extra cleaning and softness. The cleanser contains tiny, almost non-existing exfoliating grains, so it’s suitable for all skin types. It has an herbal scent of geranium and lavender, which is quite intense, but at the same time feels calming and relaxing.

See the ingredients:

Camellia Sinensis (Green & White Tea)*, Phaseolus Angularis (Adzuki Bean) Powder*, Actifoliate® [Glycerin, Water, Mucor Miehei Extract, Glucosamine HCI, Uea], Glycerin (Vegetable Glycerin)*, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Juice*, Phenethyl Alcohol**, Xanthan Gum, Honey (Manuka Honey)*, Colloidal Oat Flour*, Ascophyllum Nodosum (Kelp) Powder*, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Oleoresin*, Matricaria Recutita (Chamomile Flower) Powder, Ethylhexylglycerin**, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Essential Oil*, Pelargonium Graveolens (Rose Geranium) Essential Oil. *organic. **paraben-free anti-microbial agents. % organic ingredients: 92%.

Pacific Mist* (120ml)
A pure plant-based mist made with green and white tea, neroli, sea fennel, and a mix of tuberose, jasmine, and neroli essential oils. It doesn’t contain alcohol if you’re trying to avoid it. I like that the mist has a strong neroli scent, which makes me feel active, happy, and energized. That’s why I keep it on my work table so I could use it whenever I need to refresh my skin and my mind.

See the ingredients:

Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea)*, Citrus Aurantium (Neroli) Hydrosol, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Extract*, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Extract*, Green Crithmum Maritimum (Sea Fennel) Extract, Macrocystis Pyrifera (Sea Kelp) Extract, Saccharomyces/Xylitum Black Tea Ferment (Kombucha) Extract, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide (Cosmocil CQ**), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Polianthes Tuberosa (Tuberose) Essential Oil, Trachelospermum Jasminoides (Star Jasmine) Essential Oil, Citrus Aurantium (Neroli) Essential Oil*. * organic. ** Paraben-free anti-microbial agent.

Pacific Face Oil* (30ml)
Filled with healing oils and antioxidants, this face oil is a perfect addition to my skincare routine. Just look how many goodies it contains, starting with grapeseed, marula, chia, borage, papaya, passion fruit, argan, kiwi seed, and even watermelon seed oil. I expected it to be heavy, but it has an awesome moisturizing but non-greasy consistency. Also, it smells divine! I can’t stop sniffing that subtle, lovely scent. I use this Face Oil right after spraying my face with the Mist because I find that these two work perfectly well together.

See the ingredients:

Camellia Oleifera (Camellia) Oil*, Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Oil*, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil*, Sclerocarya Birrea (Marula) Oil*, Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil*, Salvia Hispanica (Chia) Seed Oil*, Borago Officinalis (Borage) Oil*, Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Seed Oil, Rubus Idaeus (Red Raspberry) Seed Oil*, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil*, Oenotherus Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil*, Rosa Rubignosa (Rosehip) Seed Oil*, Squalene (Vegetable Squalene), Mixed Tocopherols (Vitamin E)*, Actinidia Deliciosa (Kiwi) Seed Oil, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Seed Oil, Passiflora Incarnate (Passion Fruit) Oil, Rosa Rubignosa (Rosehip) Seed CO2 Oil*, Pacific Marine EFAs™, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Oleoresin*, Pinus Densiflora (Red Pine Needle) Oil*, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Essential Oil**, Rosa Centifolia (Rose) Essential Oil*, Andropogon Zizanioides (Vetiver) Essential Oil*, Trachelospermum Jasminoides (Star Jasmine) Essential Oil, Citrus Aurantium (Neroli) Essential Oil*, Boswellia Carterii (Frankincense) Essential Oil*. * organic. ** obtained from a reputable source that complies with government regulations to reforest.

True Nature Botanicals Pacific Organic Face SerumsTrue Nature Botanicals has a range of serums as well. It contains four serums, and I was fortunate to try samples of Pacific Face Serum* (7.5ml) and Pacific Night Serum with Retinol* (7.5ml). The Face Serum was a bit disappointing – it didn’t give enough hydration and moisture for my skin. Though it would be ideal for combination and oily skin types because it absorbs so well, doesn’t leave the skin oily, and makes it soft and revived. Pacific Night Serum with Retinol is another story – I’m so in love with it that I can’t even begin to describe how good my skin feels after applying this serum before going to bed. Not only it’s really moisturizing, but also increases collagen production and repairs damaged skin, which makes it a wonderful anti-aging treatment.

True Nature Botanicals Pacific Everyday Tinted MoisturizerTrue Nature Botanicals also has the Everyday Sheer Coverage Tinted Moisturizer* (30ml), which contains 56% of organic ingredients, including hydrating green tea, vegetable glycerin, and jojoba oil as well as strong hydrating ingredients such as algae, hyaluronic acid, and coenzyme Q10. This tinted moisturizer comes in two shades: Light Tint and Medium Tint. The shade I have is called Light Tint, which I think is more suitable for medium skin tones rather than light skin tones. Unfortunately, it’s too dark for me, even in summer. Other than that, it’s a great tinted moisturizer – light and easy to apply. Most importantly, it offers SPF20 UVA and UVB protection.

Love the packaging of the products (: ! The mist, face oil and Everyday Sheer Coverage sound very interesting. Unfortunately Light Tint looks like it would be too dark for me as well. Thank you for the great review (: .

I still need to try True Natural Botanicals products! I’m really intrigued about the Everyday Sheer Coverage as I love tinted moisturizers. Too bad the Light Tint color looks pretty dark… Great post! 🙂

The range sounds dreamy and I can’t help but swoon over the packaging. Shame that the tint isn’t quite the right colour that does look rather dark for a shade labelled Light

Gorgeous, isn’t it? I love that it’s not made from plastic 🙂

I wish the shade Light would be a tad lighter. However, it’s the same issue with most tinted moisturizers – the lightest shade is just too dark for light/fair skin.

This brand is so wonderfully composed in its ingredient lists and the fragrances sound delightful as well. I really must try more from TNB!

Which product caught your attention the most? 🙂

Inga | Organic Beauty Blogger

Thanks, Kasey! Yeah, if your skin is fair/light, then it will probably be too dark.
What’s your favorite tinted moisturizer by the way?
