These are actually October newcomers, but because I fell very ill last week (still recovering, but at least I don’t have to stay in bed sleeping all day), they had to wait a few extra days to be posted:
John Masters Organics Rose & Apricot Antioxidant Day Cream (30ml): this is a light, yet potent moisturizer for normal to dry skin types. It contains many beneficial oils and extracts such as rose, peach, apricot, blue tansy, and Roman chamomile, well known for intensive soothing and hydrating properties.
Avril Organic Volume Mascara is a repurchased item. I’ve used up a decent number of these organic mascaras because they are perfect for everyday makeup, and also they’re affordable.
Alterra Pomegranate Hair Conditioner (travel size) is from the same range as Alterra’s Hair Mask, which I reviewed a while ago. These two products have similar scent and consistency, but they have a very different effect on my hair. The conditioner feels lighter and slicker than a hair mask that is more nourishing.
Tange Teezer Compact Instant Detangling Hair Brush. Here’s a short story: when a good friend of mine took her Tangle Teezer (she has The Original Hair Brush) out of her purse and said that I NEED to get this, I nodded politely and asked her if she wanted some cookies. I’ve seen a few other friends using this brush, but for me, it sounded ridiculous that a hair brush could be somehow so special. My friend left me her brush to try for a few days (because that’s what friends do, they insist you do some things whether you want it or not) and didn’t laugh after I went and bought one for myself the next day. It’s soo much easier to detangle the hair with this brush. I chose the compact version because it’s smaller and fits better in my handbag.
Have you tried or would like to try any of these?
