Avril Extreme Length Black Mascara

I’m always excited to share my latest green beauty finds with you, and this Avril Beaute Extreme Length Mascara is something that I would not dare to keep quiet about. A few months ago, I reviewed Avril Liquid Foundation and was so pleased with the product that I had to try more from this brand. I can call this week the Avril week because next post (coming up on Friday) is going to be about Avril nail polish in Burgundy!

Avril beauty products have a simplistic, yet elegant design and this mascara is not an exception. It comes in a slim black tube with a brand logo. Despite the pretty package, this mascara also works great. My lashes although quite dense are short and light, so a mascara that actually makes a difference in length or volume is always welcome. The Extreme Length mascara makes my lashes noticeably longer and intense.

I think the reason why Avril Extreme Length mascara is good is because of its brush. It’s a medium-size brush with dense bristles, and that lets it effortlessly reach and separate all the lashes without making one big clump of them. The consistency of mascara, which is not too thick, but not too runny, helps as well. You can put two or more layers, and it still looks excellent. One thing I didn’t like was that the mascara was tricky to wash off and managed to stick to the under-eye area. This might be a pain in the evening, but it has the advantage of staying in place all day and even in a case of rain. It’s not waterproof, though.
