June Natural Beauty Newbies

Organic Skincare NewbiesNope. There’s no resisting Sephora and its annual sale. I’m talking about Spring Saving Sale that the store had a few weeks ago. Which now somehow feels like months! Does the quarantine really make time seem to go slower or is it just me?

Anyway, I knew I wanted to get these Isle Of Paradise Self Tanning Drops for a while, but I was waiting for them to go on sale. I am a devoted user of Eco By Sonya Tanning Water, but I’ve been using it for two years and just wanted to switch things up a little. The Self Tanning Drops come in three shades [Light, Medium, Tan], and of course, with my pale skin tone, the shade I went for is Light. I haven’t yet had the chance to properly try them, but I’ll be posting a full review really soon.

Natural Skincare NewbiesYouth to The People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream (and its cutest sample-size jar ever). I’ve dipped my toe in writing about and explaining what adaptogens are here. But truthfully, as far as I remember I’ve never applied any creams to my skin containing adaptogens. So, what’s in this cream? The main ingredients are ashwagandha (with potent antioxidant properties), reishi (antioxidant-rich, regenerating), and pentapeptide (promotes collagen and elastin production).

It has a nourishing consistency, which melts into the skin quickly. What I like the most about this cream is its versatility. It’s moisturizing enough for skin, which requires more moisture, but not too thick and heavy for oilier skin types.

Glow Recipe Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask has a mouthwatering jelly texture and a lovely smell. It’s a sleeping mask, meaning it’s recommended to apply as the last step in your evening skincare routine (after washing and moisturizing) and kept overnight. Don’t forget to wash it off in the morning. It’s supposed to leave the skin gently exfoliated and hydrated, which it does. However, if you have sensitive skin, be careful, and try not to do it too often. You can also use the mask for 30-60 minutes instead of overnight use.

Venics Organic Diamond Melted Highlighter* is actually the only product from this post that can’t be found on Sephora, but since it’s the post about the newest natural beauty additions, I definitely wanted to include it as well. I’ll be posting a separate review, and when you’ll see it, you’ll understand why I want you to hear more about it!
