Kate from What Katie Rates and I did a green beauty swap, which was organized by the lovely Ria from NatuRia Beauty. If you haven’t already participated in a beauty swap, I highly recommend you to do so – it’s so much fun! I enjoyed shopping for Kate a lot and hoped that she would like what I chose. Kate sent me a package filled with all these goodies shown above. She also wrapped all these gifts separately and added a few sachets of organic tea (so sweet!):
Akin Lavender & Anthyliss Leave-In Hair Conditioner
Made with herbal extracts and nourishing oils, this leave-in conditioner promises moisture, strength, and protection from heat styling and environmental damage. I especially like the leave-in part, because sometimes I’m too lazy to use a regular conditioner. I haven’t tried this yet, but I hope for good results.
Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil
This organic rosehip oil from Trilogy is probably the most raved product from its whole range. Being pure and certified, this rosehip oil is such a multi-tasker and can be used for face and for body (to prevent stretch marks and hydrate skin).
Green People 24-Hour Brightening Cream
I’ve already started using this day cream. I expected it to be lighter in consistency, but although it’s pretty creamy, it absorbs into the skin easily. My skin seems smoother, calmer, and brighter after applying this cream. I would definitely consider purchasing a full-size of it.
Alani Headache Eraser
This aromatherapy rollerball is a blend of lavender, peppermint, and pine essential oils and suitable for easing headaches and relaxing the mind.
Dr. Bronner’s Unscented Liquid Soap
Another fantastic multi-tasker, Dr. Bronner’s liquid castile soap that can be used for almost anything: as soap, shampoo, shower gel, cleanser for makeup brushes… the list is endless. This one is unscented so you can add your own essential oils as well.
Herbfarmacy Lip Conditioner With Marshmallow and Vanilla
I’ve tried this lip conditioner before and like it a lot for its moisturizing benefits.
