Self-Care Sunday with Madara Skincare Trio

I used to dislike Sundays. They just seemed too slow and too much waste of time. I managed to change this point of view by including some rituals I genuinely enjoy. These rituals are very simple: a face mask, indulge in some delicious take-out meal or take a long walk in nature with my family. It allows me to focus on self-care and self-appreciation, and are powerful enough to look forward to Sundays.

This Sunday I’m enjoying this lovely skincare trio from Madara. My love for Madara shows no sign of slowing down. Almost every product I try from this brand, I find effective and straight on excellent. I’ve already featured these products (except one) in other posts, but still wanted to show you this roundup.

Exfoliating Oil To Milk Scrub* 60ml / $30 – £24
I rarely use face scrubs because of my skin’s sensitivity, but I noticed that a scrub was kind of a necessity for me in summer. The heat makes my skin sweat, and where’s sweat, there are clogged pores. No one wants that, so that’s where a good scrub comes to the rescue. There are thousands of scrubs on the market so everyone can find the one they like. But what appealed to me the most with this Exfoliating Oil To Milk Scrub is that it has a light gel texture, which, after it mixes with water, turns into soft foam. I am a massive fan of foamy consistency, so I was like “yes, finally a foamy scrub!” Though, its pellets are pretty large, so I try not to rub it too vigorously and instead just gently tap it to remove any impurities.

Brightening AHA Peel Mask* 60ml / $30 – £24
As with the scrub, I don’t tend to use this mask very often because of the same reason – my skin might get sensitive at times. However, I enjoy using it on an irregular basis. Especially, when my skin needs something more than a simple cleansing mask. Madara’s Brightening AHA Peel Mask has a light texture, which falls somewhere between a cream and a gel. It also has a bitter, fruity scent. I don’t use it often enough to tell you if it’s effective like a regular treatment, but even from the first use, it removes flaky skin very well.

SOS Moisture Mask* 60ml / $44 – £35
It seems that I talk about this mask all the time. But you know what? I’m not even sorry! Good products must get a recognition they deserve. I’m not going to talk about package design since it’s obviously pretty with the sleek and modern feel to it. I also enjoy its sweet, gentle scent and rich consistency. It feels like a good moisturizer, and considering that you can choose not to rinse it off, it can well serve like one. The SOS Moisture Mask revives, hydrates, and refreshes the skin visibly. It doesn’t clog pores or leave an oily cast, which is one of the reasons I prefer this mask over many other moisturizing masks.

I’ve received all of these products with Love Lula Beauty Box, but you can also find them online at Love Lula website with free worldwide delivery or any other Madara stockist.
