Organic Concealer Pencil: Sante Coverstick

sante organic concealer coverstickHello, ladies! Spring is just around the corner, so have you already started updating your makeup bags? Today I want to review Sante Coverstick Concealer Pencils, the concealers that tick all the boxes a concealer should tick: they offer smooth application, smudge-free wear, and luminous finish.

Sante Coversticks are packed with organic castor seed oil, shea butter, and chamomile, so it feels nice to use them for the skin knowing it’s being cared for. The Coversticks are soft and creamy in texture, which makes them easy to blend. They didn’t leave my skin dry or cakey, however, if you have dry patches, make sure to moisturize them well because the concealer might cling to them.

The range has four shades:
01 Light – light beige with slight yellow undertones (I think this would be suitable for neutral skin tones, too).
02 Medium – light/medium beige with pink undertones;
03 Beige – dark golden beige.
04 Olive – medium with olive undertones.

Sante -CoversticksOne of the biggest advantages of a pencil concealer is that you can take it anywhere with you without a fear of spilling the content into your purse. Also, it’s easy to do touch-ups, because you don’t need a brush to blend the concealer into your skin, just pat it with your clean fingers on the area you want to cover. It sinks in much faster than liquid concealers do.

Sante promises that these concealers are great for covering dark under-eye circles and other small imperfections. I use a shade Light on a few spots on my forehead, and it does a great job covering them up. It offers light to medium buildable coverage so doesn’t cover moles, red sports or though, but rather makes them less noticeable.

Which organic concealers would you recommend?

It’s so hard to find that *one* concealer that you can just fall in love with and use everyday. These look SO promising though, and I love that it’s a pencil- that is not only practical, but CUTE. It’s the one thing I haven’t really been happy with yet in the natural beauty world- the concealer. As in, I just haven’t found something that not only moisturizes and covers, but also won’t get dry and cakey as the day goes on. Good find- thanks for the post!

I am interested in trying the cover sticks as I don’t find mineral makeup very good at covering blemishes. How long did it stay on? x
