Madara Moon Flower Organic Tinted Fluid

Madara Moon Flower Rose Beige Organic Tinted FluidKeeping things minimal and simple has been the key in my daily makeup routine. My skin is not acting out, and even my rosacea has reduced significantly, so I don’t have many reasons to use anything more than a foundation and mascara. Although I prefer liquid foundations for my makeup, I find that I’m more and more interested in tinted moisturizers. I have already tried this Madara Moon Flower Tinted Fluid in the past, but it was so long time ago that I don’t remember much about it.

I’ve always adored the simplicity of  Madara’s packaging. Madara Moon Flower Tinted Fluid comes in a white bottle with a pump. A pump is a huge advantage for me. However, this is one of those packagings that you can not see through, so it’s always a mystery how much product is left. The tinted fluid itself comes out as creamy, yet feels light and refreshing on the skin. I’m always suspicious about products for all skin types, but this fluid seems to be suitable for any skin type from dry and mature to oily. It offers moisture and a light coverage. It dries super quick, without leaving stickiness or uneasiness, but also does a fantastic job in evening up and illuminating the skin. The scent is unique to Madara products: herbal, yet fresh and somehow cooling.

There are two shades of Madara’s tinted fluid:
Moon Flower (see a swatch below) is a cool beige with pink undertones. It’s a perfect shade for lighter skin tones. Unfortunately, my skin tone is more neutral, so the pink undertone is slightly too pink for me. But if you have fair/light skin with pink undertones, the shade would be a perfect match for you.
In comparison, Sun Flower is a beautiful medium beige with strong yellow undertones. The color is pretty dark so it would suit medium/tanned skin tones with warm undertones. I love these swatches of Sun Flower that show what this tinted fluid is capable of!

Madara Moon Flower Rose Beige Tinted FluidOverall, I love everything about this Madara Moon Flower Tinted Fluid, except its color. If Madara would add a light neutral-toned tinted moisturizer to its range, I’d be the first to try. Madara Tinted Fluids are available here, here, and here for $42/£27 for 50ml.
