Logona Volume Mascara 02 Black | Review

https://www.organicbeautyblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Logona-Organic-Mascara-in-Black.jpgI wanted to try this Logona Volume mascara for a while, and I finally picked it up at my local organic beauty store. As it turned out, they had a sale on this exact mascara, and I bought it at half price. Lucky me!

This mascara comes in an elegant, slim tube with a medium-size wand with short bristles for an easy and fast application. It comes in two colors: 01 Deep Black and 02 Black. The only color left was Black, so I picked this one. I later discovered that it is intensive enough and I’m happy with my choice. The mascara seems quite runny once you start using it, but don’t let this scare you off. In my experience, it happens with all fresh mascaras – they seem smudgy at first, but become more manageable after a few uses.

See the ingredients:

Aqua (Water), Alcohol*, Stearic Acid, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Sorbitol, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil*, Parfum (Essential Oils), Inulin, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Glyceryl Oleate Citrate, Caramel Algin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Jojoba Esters, Oxycoccus Palustris Seed Oil, Alaria Esculentus Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Seed Extract, Tocopherol, Brassica Oleracea Italica (Broccoli) Seed Oil*, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Quartz Powder, Amethyst Powder, Amber Powder, Limonene, Linalool, (Iron Oxides) CI 77499 *certified organically grown. NaTrue Certified.

I was happy to see that this mascara made the lashes denser, longer, and darker. Better yet, the lashes were clump-free! One thing I’d like for the mascara to do is to curl because it left my lashes straight. However, nothing that an eyelash curler could not fix.

I’ve tried this as well, and it’s so strange but it just didn’t seem to work for me like it works for everyone else. It looks like it does a great job on your lashes though and half-price is a pretty good deal! x

Finding a good all natural mascara is so hard— ! I think it’s the last thing on the list that you think of- mascara! I have had issues with other brands with clumpyness and not being long lasting- will have to try out this brand now!

It looks so great on you! I have tried this mascara some time ago, I remember that it was not as bad as Sante old mascaras, but I cannot remember any specific opinion :)) Thank you for a remind about it 😉

Looks good! I’m so glad to hear that it’s working out for you. Also glad to hear that my tip maybe working out. I just wish I could take good eyelash photos or my review would have been up ages ago! 😉

Wow this looks great on your lashes! I love how dark and thick the formula looks when applied. I have thin, straight lashes so curious if this will help add thickness to my lashes. I will have to try this out! 🙂
