Earth’s Care Acne Spot Treatment With Sulfur

Earths Care Acne Spot Treatment With Sulfur 1My skin has never suffered from severe acne, I just have an occasional spot occurring here and there. However, my husband isn’t as lucky as I am, so I decided to try this Earth’s Care Acne Spot Treatment to see if it works on him. The treatment claims to clear up even the most stubborn blemishes, pimples, and breakouts, to reduce irritation, and to promote on-spot healing. Sounds like a dream, right? The product does not contain phthalates, parabens, petrolatum, artificial colors or fragrance.

This Acne Spot Treatment is made with sulfur. Sulfur is a naturally occurring element found in areas of natural volcanic activity or hot springs. For centuries, it has been used for skin treatment purposes to heal acne, dermatitis or rosacea. Being made with 10% sulfur, the treatment smells like matches. The smell isn’t annoying, but it’s definitely there. Despite its numerous benefits, sulfur is a potent ingredient, so it’s important to use it in moderation, especially if you have sensitive skin. Earth’s Care only advises to apply this treatment on small skin areas and keep for a maximum of 10 minutes. My husband kept it for 5 minutes to avoid skin irritation. His skin is not sensitive, but I wanted to be safe. There’s an Acne Treatment Mask with 5% sulfur if you think you would like a more gentle treatment for your skin.

See the ingredients:

Active: 10% Sulfur. Inactive: Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Colloidal Oatmeal, Bentonite, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cetearyl Glucoside, Citric Acid, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Purified Water, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Xanthan Gum. Cruelty-free.

Earths Care Natural Acne Spot Treatment With Sulfur 1Obviously, there were no changes after the first use, so he kept using the treatment daily. It says you can apply it two or three times a day, but we stuck to just one, and after a few days, the results started to show. My husband’s skin seemed somehow calmer, and the spots were healing much faster. I have to caution you that this treatment can dry out your skin pretty quickly, that’s why it’s called topical and needs to be used on targeted, problematic areas only.

Overall, I have to admit that I was skeptical about this treatment, but it proved to be an excellent natural remedy for acne and blemishes.

Earth’s Care Acne Spot Treatment is available at Earth’s Care and iherb for approx $15/£10 for 27 g.
