Dr. Hauschka Translucent Brow and Lash Gel Review

Dr Hauschka Brow Lash GelI’ve done my fair share of eyebrow tinting and threading in the past, but now my brow game is pretty simple: some color (I enjoy Zuii Organic Eyebrow Definer) and some styling with tinted or clear gel. Nothing bald, only natural look. I stopped going to the brow specialist for a few simple reasons: my brows are not that thick anyway (at least using today’s standards), also they kind of keep their natural shape, so I just need to gently nudge them in the right direction. Also, despite enjoying brow appointments, they take too long (an hour at my brow specialist’s salon), and the tint lasts one week on my brows anyway.

My latest brow find is Ere Perez Argan Brow Hero, a tinted brow gel. I noticed a significant growth and additional thickness after using this gel almost every day. I believe this is because it contains castor oil and other ingredients caring for your brows and skin. However, despite having a tinted gel, I longed for a clear one too. I used to have a couple of those in the past, and I enjoy their ability to naturally tame and fix the brow without adding any color. You know, for those no-makeup days. I picked up Dr. Hauschka Brow and Lash Gel because, well, there aren’t many natural translucent brow gels to choose from, and this seemed like a good option.

Dr Hauschka Organic Brow and Lash Gel ClearDr. Hauschka Brow & Lash Gel comes in sleek black packaging, like most of Dr. Hauschka’s makeup. It also has the same soft powdery scent. I wish it would not contain alcohol, but most of the brand’s products do (they claim it’s organically sourced and evaporates from the skin fast without any damage). Other than that, I think I made a fine choice. The texture of the gel makes it easy to spread on the brows without overdoing it. The hold is good; my brows do not look or feel tacky – instead, they look natural but stay in place all day.

I’ve tried using it as a lash gel a couple of times for additional separation and lash definition. To be honest, I didn’t notice a big difference, maybe I should apply a more generous amount and see what happens then. Sounds scary, but you know, a girl’s gotta do what she’s gotta do to feed her curiosity 😃 Overall, I like it, does a good job as a brow gel.

Have you tried this Brow & Lash Gel? Do you have any suggestions for natural brow gels?
