Venics Organic Diamond Glow Melted Highlighter

Venics-Organic-Cream-HighlighterHave you heard about Venics Organic Diamond Glow Melted Highlighter? I hope you have! But if not, let me tell you about this impressive makeup gem, created by a small, lovely indie beauty brand from Seattle. Venics strives to make their products eco-friendly, organic, vegan, cruelty-free. On top of that, they are a socially responsible company, which donates to children in need from every highlighter you purchase.

If you’re familiar with my blog, you know that I would never skip a part where I mention the packaging. Venics nailed it! Just look at this beautiful glass jar with a wooden lid!

But let’s talk about the product itself.

I’ll start by saying that I’m a massive advocate for all highlighters, but especially liquid ones. Wait a minute, you might say. But this review isn’t about a liquid highlighter! No, it’s not. It’s about a cream highlighter, which has a texture of melted butter, so it glides on the skin exceptionally smoothly, almost like the liquid one. You can use your fingers or a makeup brush to apply; I prefer a round brush and just smooth it out with clean fingers. There’s no greasiness, no stickiness after application.

The Diamond Glow Melted Highlighter comes in three shades:
Wedding Ring: A warm-toned golden glow with a pink undertone
K Color: A natural, pale-gold glow with a neutral undertone
First Christmas: An icy glow with a hint of pink, with a sparkly, high-shine finish

Venics-Organic-Highlighter-Diamond-RingThe color I have is a Wedding Ring*, and although I was a bit unsure whether it would suit my complexion (I usually go for cool or neutral-toned makeup), also, I have light skin, and this shade is more recommended to tan skin. However, it looks absolutely natural and divine! What I like the most is that it has no glitter in it. I repeat, NO GLITTER. Although I have a few highlighters with glittery finish (and they are lovely), finding the one with a gorgeous luminous finish is very rare.
