The Radiance Boosting Serum from Poethique

Poethique Radiance Boosting SerumA radiant complexion is what most of us strive for in our skincare and makeup. We want a skin that’s not greasy or shiny, or glittery, but subtly luminous. The kind that a healthy and happy skin has. I know, I know… Beautiful, healthy skin starts with leading a healthy lifestyle, but it would be hard to deny that using good skincare products helps to achieve this as well. Many creams and serums promise to boost radiance, but not all of them live up to those vows. So I was intrigued what results would this luxurious Radiance Boosting Serum* from Poethique bring to my currently dull and tired skin.

Poethique Natural Radiance Boosting SerumThe Radiance Boosting Serum comes in a chic frosty glass bottle with a pipette. I don’t think it’s worth to elaborate any more about the packaging; you can clearly see all its gorgeousness in the photos. What’s worth mentioning, though, is a mild and refreshing scent, which apparently comes from caviar lime mixed with wild plum. The smell is not overwhelming so it would not bother even the most sensitive nose.

What I also find interesting are the key ingredients that this serum contains: caviar lime and not one but three different kinds of wild plums. It’s not the first product I have that bears the caviar lime extract. This plant is a great source of AHA, which is known to speed up skin renewal processes. However, I don’t think I’ve tried anything containing the wild plums. Apparently, they work as antioxidants by protecting the skin from the free radical activity. Combined with caviar lime, they make a great team for effectively softening the skin and boosting its radiance.

The use of this serum is like any other serum. The instructions are to apply a few drops of the product to a clean skin every morning and evening. Afterwards, you can follow with your usual moisturizer or not. I sometimes skip mine before bed after I use this serum if my skin doesn’t feel cracking dry. The consistency is gel-like but very light, almost airy, so it’s suitable for all skin types. It feels absolutely amazing on the skin during application and instantly sinks in without leaving an oily cast. It’s not a hydrating serum, so you should not expect much nourishment from it. But it leaves my skin slightly soft and illuminated as if it glows from within. That is precisely what distinguishes this serum from many other glow-boosting serums out there. Also, my skin tends to be quite reactive at some new products, especially those containing AHA, but I did not get even a hint of redness or irritation when using this serum.

Poethique Natural Luxury Radiance Boosting SerumOverall, the packaging, scent, ingredients, and even consistency of this serum screams quality and luxury. And because of that, the Poethique Radiance Boosting Serum has become one of my top natural serums. My skin feels great after using it, and I also think that for such an excellent natural product, it comes at a reasonable price of $55 -£40 for 30ml. It’s available online at Poethique (with free US delivery).
