New natural makeup collections is always a joy! They bring that extra freshness into everyday makeup routine. I’d like you to meet Kristen Arnett, who is a professional sustainable makeup artist and a founder of Green Beauty Team. Her collaboration with a natural, clean from all harmful synthetic ingredients, mineral makeup brand Alima Pure resulted in this new gorgeous “Me Encanta” Holiday 2013 Collection.
“Me Encanta” (can be translated “it sings to me”) is an extremely feminine collection, which was inspired by flamenco. It was created for “multi-faceted woman who chooses to appear demure and delicate, or strong and powerful…or all of it simultaneously.” Sounds pretty amazing, right?
Flamenco Limited Edition Eyeshadow – shimmery navy blue, perfect as a dramatic all-over eyeshadow or as a more subtle eyeliner, and can be used wet or dry.
Sombra Contour Powder – natural bronzing color to sculpt the cheekbones and define the crease of the eye.
Pink Satin Matte Blush – soft neutral pink that provides a natural winter flush to the cheeks and make you look like you’ve been dancing all night.
Baila Lip Tint – a gorgeous Spanish Rose tint to liven up the face without overpowering the dramatic eyes and cheeks.
Black Natural Definition Mascara – buildable color to add natural length and volume to your lashes.

Below are some swatches of “Me Encanta” Collection. I absolutely love the way all colors go together creating a beautiful ensemble. I also like the fact that all of them come in a neutral tone and are very versatile. Sombra Contour Powder, despite its soft look, is nicely pigmented and does its job beautifully. I find it especially suitable for those with fair or light skin. Flamenco LE Eyeshadow seems like a powerful tool to bring some drama to your look. Also very versatile (can be used as an eyeshadow or a liner, wet or dry). Pink Satin Matte Blush is my personal favorite. Neutral soft pink for that subtle English Rose look.
Last, but not least Baila Lip Tint. At first, I actually thought this was a lipstick because it’s so well pigmented. However, once it’s on the lips, it feels like a balm – very hydrating and soothing. The color is quite intense, but not too dramatic to wear it daily.
