Antipodes Skin Plumping Duo

I’ve been on and off the blogging bandwagon for a while now. But this doesn’t mean I quit trying out new organic beauty products. No, ma’am, and every time I do try something exciting, I just yearn to share about it with you. This time it just took a while. But I’m back now and I think there’s no better way than to say hello with this lovely Skin Plumping duo review from Antipodes.

I’ll start by saying that I just can’t believe this is my first encounter with this brand, which is very well known amongst those interested in green beauty. I mean, they have mini products! This alone earns a lot of points in my view.

Hosanna H20 Intensive Skin Plumping Serum (10ml) was the reason why I decided to try this kit in the first place. My friend, who had tried it in the past, could not recommend it enough. So, of course, I did what any self-respecting beauty blogger would do – as soon as I got back home, I ordered it from Love Lula. And you know what? My friend was totally right – it’s one of the best serums that I’ve tried. I love that it is light, has an awfully good ingredient list, but I also love what it’s not – not greasy, non-clogging, and, excuse my not very ladylike language, not BS. If used regularly, it works well on tightening the skin and softening those hard lines.

One thing that I’ve found a bit odd is that it’s described as a hydrating serum. I don’t know, if by hydrating they mean it doesn’t turn the skin into a desert after application, then maybe yes, it’s hydrating, but to be honest, this serum sinks in super quick, and you surely will need a moisturizing cream after because otherwise your skin would just feel uncomfortable. Other than that, I can’t think of any cons to pass onto you.

See the ingredients:

Lavender Distillate, Waiwera© Artesian Water, Mamaku Black Fern Leaf Extract, Vinanza Grape©, Grapeseed Extract, Natural Preservative, Lavendula Angustifolia, Aqua, Cyathea Medullaris, Vitis Vinifera, Naticide, Caprylic/ Capric Triglyceride, Xanthum Gum, Essential Oil Fragrances Of French Rose Oil & Cardamom, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Citral, Citronellol, D-Limonene, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Linanool¹, ¹ Component Of Essential Oil, * Certified Organic Ingredient, Product Certified Organic By Asurequality.

Rejoice Light Facial Day Cream (15ml) is the second product from the Skin Plumping Kit. It promises to boost your skin’s collagen production in half. If you look at the ingredients, there are so many of them known for their skin firming and hydrating properties: rosehip oil, manuka oil, lavender.

Because it’s SO light, it’s perfect for warmer weather. It might seem heavy in texture right after application, but it sinks in within seconds without leaving ANY greasiness, just soft skin – if you’re up for this, you’ll definitely going to like it. Though, in my opinion, oily/combo skin is most likely to enjoy this cream. It also goes well with or without the Hosanna serum.

Welcome back! I love the Rejoice cream – I tried it in a mini set as well and I was gutted when it ran out. I also love Antipodes’ Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream, it’s so hydrating and one pot lasts for ages xx
